Yusuf Haliru Binji, a Nigerian, born on 23 March 1968, is the Managing Director of BUA Cement. He is a chemical engineer with degrees from Ahmadu Bello University and the University College, London. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Solar Energy Society of Nigeria, Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers and Nigerian Society of Mining Engineers.
Yusuf has over 30 years' working experience in various organisations, including Cement Company of Northern Nigeria (CCNN), BUA International Limited, Obu Cement Company Limited and others. He was Managing Director of Obu Cement Company in 2017 before moving to Cement Company of Northern Nigeria as the Managing Director in 2018. In December 2019, he was announced as the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of BUA Cement, the new entity formed by the merger between Obu Cement and CCNN.
