A result oriented and seasoned Insurance professional with dynamic and rich expertise in the areas of Underwriting, Claims, Risk Management, Reinsurance and Portfolio Management, gained during a progressive career spanning over 26 years with various leading Multinational and Regional insurance companies across Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region.
Ahmed started his career with Misr insurance in 1995 where he worked in different underwriting capacities in their Special Risks Division; He was the Energy profit Centre Manager for AIG Egypt and Assistant Vice President of Marsh Egypt. In KSA, he was the VP, Technical of Al Ahlia Cooperative Insurance then relocated to Dubai-UAE as the Assistant General Manager, Non- Marine lines at Orient Insurance. Then the Head of Technical- Non-Life of Allianz Egypt, His last assignment before joining Sarwa Insurance was the Technical Director and Executive committee member at Royal and Sun Alliance (RSA) Saudi Arabia for more than 6 years. He is the Managing Director for Sarwa Insurance since August 2018.
