ABOUT KADIJAHAMOAH Mrs. Kadijah Amoah is the CEO for Aker Energy Ghana Limited. Mrs. Kadijah Amoah is the Chief Executive Officer for Aker Energy Ghana Limited, the first Ghanaian woman to lead an oil and gas exploration and production company. She is a member of the Executive Management Team of Aker Energy AS in Norway, and holds directorships in affiliated AGMPetroleumGhana and Aker Ghana Investment Company. She is also a council member of the Ghana Upstream Petroleum Chamber. Prior to joining Aker Energy, Mrs. Amoah was a Lawyer and a member of the Banking and Capital Markets Team at Clifford Chance LLP, Germany. She previously worked as Head of Investments and Business Development at the Office of the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana. She was the Government of Ghana lead of the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Government of Ghana lead of the U.KGhana Business Council. Mrs. Amoah holds a B.A. (Hons) in Political Science and Sociology, LLB (Hons), and an M.Sc. in International Business from the University of Ghana. She also holds a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development in Rwanda, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and she is a member of Oriel College. FIRMPROFILE Aker Energy AS was founded in February 2018 and is established as the newest member of the Aker Group. The E&P company aims to become the offshore oil and gas operator of choice in Ghana. It is characterised by the entrepreneurial and flexible organisation that is synonymous with member companies of the Aker Group. Aker Energy is now operational with offices in Oslo and Accra, the capital of Ghana.
