Otunba (Dr.) Olawanle Akinboboye was born 61 years ago in Lagos, Nigeria. He completed his primary and secondary education in Ondo State and obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Kaduna Polytechnic, Nigeria. He obtained a degree in Business Management from Bowie State University in Maryland USA before embarking on a Master degree program in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. He also holds a doctorate degree from the European American University. Otunba Akinboboye founded and currently steers the operations of 15 companies in the tourism, security and entertainment industries. He focuses on using African culture, art, music and cuisine to create economic opportunities and prosperity for Africans and their continent. In 1984, at the age of 25, and to actualize his vision of developing Africa, he commenced his continent building initiative, establishing companies in Nigeria that focused on security, tourism and entertainment. Over the past 35 years his companies have entered into strategic partnerships in other African countries and have provided employment to thousands of individuals.
