He has worked in several worldclass corporations including Shell BP, Blue Circle (UK) and WAPCO (now Lafarge Africa), which he led as Managing Director/CEO for a decade before taking up the appointment as Managing Director/CEO of the National Electric Power Authority. He also served as Special Adviser (Electric Power) to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, under two separate administrations. Joe’s rich engineering and cement industry experience, as well as his extensive managerial, governance and policy development experience are of immense benefit to the Company. He has a B.Sc. and an M.Phil in Mechanical Engineering.
